This blog is hosted by 1and1.com Internet, and has been since 2003.  I  use the latest and greatest version of WordPress to mange, edit, and publish content for this blog, and have done so for about 7 years.  Previously, I used MovableType, but found it inadequate for a number of reasons I can’t specifically recall now.  I also tend to change the theme for this blog way more than I probably should.

I was always a website junkie at heart, and this website, in one form or another, has existed since mid 1997.   Leaving aside different themes and versions of the various WordPress and MovableType templates I experimented with, this has gone through at least 14 different revisions.  The technical history of this website spans a wide swath of html files edited in notepad to its current iteration.
