Some pics

Being on break is spiffy–I have time to do more geeky things. As a start, I’ve uploaded pictures of my diecast aircraft collection. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. :)

Check out the gallery for the pics.

In other news (well, actually I guess it’s pretty related) I cannot WAIT to receive this.

Good Day?

It’s only 9:28am and it’s already shaping up to be a good day.

I finished my oral arguments this morning, which means I am now officially done with Legal Writing II. HUZZAH.

Also, Air Canada has ordered 777′s and 787′s over the Bus’s. That is FANTASTIC.

A good way to lose weight

You know you have too much work when you find youself wishing you didn’t have to eat to, like, stay alive and stuff (no, this is not a commentary on the Terry Schiavo case, I’m merely venting on the sheer amount of work I have these days). I’ve poured so much time into Legal Writing II it’s amazing. Hopefully it will be worth it.

I’m up to 23 pieces of United metal now. I’m beginning to think I have a pretty awesome collection (beginning, mind you). There are still quite a few pieces I have to get, although I’ve managed to assemble most of the “modern” commercial jets. Ah collecting… talk about a gift that keeps on giving… sort of.

Looking for that double mint flavor

Another Friday in the library. With 14 credits, law review, and a part time job, I often find that I have no other choice.

Work was pretty challenging today. More projects are finding their way to me these days (which is good) and I feel like the pressure to perform is rising (which is kind of good) and I’m getting really picky about my work product (which can be good) which at times drives me crazy (which is bad). All this while my appellate brief is nagging me in the background, makes for a long and stressful day. But I should be used to that by now.

I’m beginning to suspect if I’ve been scammed for the first time on ebay. If I don’t have a certain package by the end of the week, I’ll have my first opportunity to leave negative feedback. I’ve already been conjuring up some biting sentences to nail this guy for the fraud that he is quickly shaping up to be. Phrases such as, “AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE” or “STEER CLEAR OF THIS FRAUDULENT SHAM ARTIST” sure have a special ring to them, don’t they?

Well, I’m ready for break! Wait a minute . . . .

Recap of “break”

So, looking back on this past week of “fun and games,” what did I accomplish?

1) I finally purchased food after a two-month hiatus from the grocery store;
2) I adequately fed my collecting habit by purchasing six new models (yup);
3) I watched season 3 of Mr. Show which I am still… contemplating;
4) I ate more salomi than my stomach can handle;
5) I wrote part of my appellate brief for Legal Writing II;
6) I outlined like a mofo; and
7) I went to work on Friday

All in all, quite the prototypical break, wouldn’t you agree?
