I stepped out of the library for about 10 minutes this morning to grab a breakfast cookie, and the second I made it down to the Sidebar, I was instantly flanked by people giving me up to the minute news for events and programs I’m responsible for coordinating. Conflicts here and changes there.
The library has now really become one of my two complete sanctuaries.
Jason and I have taken to the habit of taking care of Tang stuff on Monday evenings. We started practicing for oral arguments today and I was nervous to do it even in front of my own partner! I’m trying to keep a very narrow perspective on the Tang competition: this is for my own benefit only, and I should look upon it as a fun, educational experience. I’m not a great orator, but hopefully I’ll be able to hold my own in front of the judges.
I’m looking forward to the debate tomorrow. If I were back in college, I’d invite people over to the mod, pop some popcorn, grab a few beers, and watch the David and Goliath battle on TV. Since I’m in law school though, I’m resigned to the fact that I’ll probably end up watching in on the TV next to the Sidebar at school.
Now that Tang’s over with for the evening, I can treat myself to a well-deserved break and read some con law. Yeah, that’s a break.

What the heck is Tang? I’m going to assume you aren’t going to some competition to see who can make some a better orange-like drink.

I believe you meant watch David battle the likes of the seemingly Goliath syndicate in Season 5 which I still don’t have (sob). I hate life too!
