I spent most of the evening watching the first night of the Democratic National Convention kick off. I was particularly interested in seeing what President Clinton had to say, and for the most part I felt the wait was worth it.
It’s interesting to think that my entire concept of how this country should be run was formed under eight years of Democratic leadership. I was too young to know or care about President Reagan, and too naive to understand politics during Bush senior’s tenency. Am I justified in forming my expectations of this country under eight years of peace and growth? Do I have the right to demand more from this country’s leadership because of those eight years?
You’re damn right I do.
In other news, this site has a gallery again! I found an amazing php program called, surprise surprise, “gallery,” which dynamically generates photoalbums with php scripts. It essentially makes the whole process of creating thumbnails, resizing pictures, and commenting them, an egregiously simple process. Considering how much struggling I undertook to get Movabletype working, I have to say I was very pleased to have spent only 10 minutes setting up gallery. Anyway, for your enjoyment, I uploaded a gallery of some of my favorite aircraft from United Airlines, taken from the single most expansive, incredible online database of aircrafts of all type, Airliners.net.
Enjoy! Much more to come…
Dude what the heck. I was looking at the pics and then you deleted them!
