Ole-wow

Great game at Safeco Field today. Dodged a few foul balls, saw a bat fly into the stands, and witnessed a great rundown (seriously, you have to check this out). Of course, it was topped off with a well-deserved win. That, plus exorbitant prices for food, make for quite the time at any Mariners game. Here’s a nice shot from the bleachers of the field. In the distance, you can see part of downtown, along with Seahawks stadium in between (fine… Qwest field, but I’m only linking the first name). I’m a little peeved at how Seattle’s beautiful downtown skyline has been necessarily wedded to a certain artifact from the 1960 World’s fair, so, my minor act of rebellion for the day is a picture of Seattle without the Space Needle.

I’m slowly starting to get the hang of working with Movabletype, though I’m still only scratching the surface. It’s incredibly customizable, but for a novice such as myself, that actually makes for a bit of a heacahe. Still, I’m determined to reeducate myself in the ways of HTML and CSS. Who knows what the future may bring.
